The weapons in Goldeneye are many and diverse, with each having different characteristics and potential uses. We have included all the weapons available from the ALL GUNS cheat, even though some are not available in the game proper. The table below shows the firing rate of each weapons in rounds per second, the clip size, whether it is available in multiplayer mode, whether it will alert the guards (silent), and our own opinions in the form of a rating out of ten, and comments.

Note on rates
of fire: The rates of fire in the above table were all measured multiple
times in the same location by the same people. However, some weapons, notably,
the pistols and the laser are fired with repeated trigger pulling. This
means that the rates of fire may not be entirely accurate. This said, they
should still give an idea as to which weapon is faster etc.
Note on explosions: Anyone caught in an explosion's radius - be it on a different level or behind a wall will sustain considerable damage. This does not exclude the perpetrator of the explosion, so be careful!
Note on damage: Each weapon does a different amount of damage per shot. We have not included this information because most of the time we play Goldeneye on mulitplayer Licence to Kill mode, which we believe to be far superior to all other methods. If you really want to know which does the most damage or you play in Normal mode, and like loads of nerdy stats and scientific measurements go to this site which is made by a computer science major - he's a total nutcase.
